More up-to-date status report on the business side of print newspapers

Just thought people might be interested in some slightly more current analysis of the newspaper industry and where things stand today. Ken Doctor from the Neiman Journalism Lab published an overview worth checking out, largely focused on the New York Times, that suggests some cautious optimism may be warranted (or not!) about the latest experiments in "metered" models combined with digital subscription services.
