Please join us for a brown bag discussion on the future of libraries and library education with Joe Janes, on Friday April 5 from noon - 1:00 in the SLIS Commons. Joe is Associate Professor and the MLIS Program Chair at the University of Washington iSchool, author of the Internet Librarian column in American Libraries, and narrator of a popular series of podcasts, "Documents that changed the world" (http://ischool.uw.edu/audio-video). He is also the editor of a book that will be out this summer, that will be a series of essays by various library luminaries who were asked the question, "The library in 2020 will…"
